Indonesian Custom regulation of temporary import for foreign boat The Indonesian Custom requires for every foreign flag boat to do temporary import at most country ports, including Bali. To help cruiser with this formalities, Indonautical offer their service to be a local sponsor by putting a guarantee letter to Custom office so yachties or cruiser do not have to pay Custom bond. To do temporary import, there are required documents needed such as: 1. 4 photos of the boat from 4 directions (front,back, left and right) 2. 1 photos of inside the boat. 3. Shipping agent consent (please download from the website) 4. Appointed letter from boat owner to Indonautical to conduct temporary import procedure on their behalf. (please download from the website) 5. Ship particular (please download from the website) 6. Performa invoice (please download from the website) 7. CAIT and PKKA* 8. Temporary import permit from Custom office* (* will be processed and prepared by Indonautical) Note: You need to fill out, sign and scan the performa invoice and Appointed letter, then send them by email together with your boat photos.All documents should be submitted at least 5 weeks before arrival. The cost to do temporary import may vary and it depends on the size and value of the boat , the port to check in and check out of Indonesia, and the length of stay in Indonesia. |
